Lindsay Ward

Lindsay is a Petaluma native and has been a licensed stylist since 2008. She acquired her skills through training programs with 901 academy, Salt Society, Oribe, Wella, and many more. Lindsay continues to further her education monthly by committing to online education with Beauty Coach hosted by Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles. She is also certified in IBE extensions. The number one requested handtied extension methods. Lindsay prides herself in setting goals and consistently challenging herself.

Her latest endeavor was taking over ownership of The Pine in early 2022. Her love and passion for the space is undeniable.

Though she prides herself on being a dynamic stylist with the ability to execute different looks. Her specialty is definitely “lived in” effortless hair. Lindsay has focused on learning techniques to create seamless color applications with perfectly un-perfect hair cuts. Her commitment to her work will be obvious within your first meeting, and her clients hair goals are always top priority.

Julia Rosenthal

Julia is a Sonoma County native. She is a graduate of Sonoma State and worked in the beverage industry before answering the calling of her first love, hair. A color specialist, she trained in San Francisco and advanced her craft at a top Jackson Square flagship salon before joining the team at The Pine.

Julia’s passion is effortless, lived-in color with a focus on blonding. Her goal is that you leave her chair feeling like yourself, on your very best hair day.

Darcy Mancill

With over 15 years experience behind the chair, Darcy enjoys all aspects of hair styling with blondes and lived in beachy vibes taking the front seat. Darcy is passionate about her craft and loves making someone’s hair dreams come true. With the evolution of the hair industry over the years, Darcy continues to take an extensive variety of classes to carry on her passion and inspiration to her clients experience.

On a more personal level… Darcy is an aspiring yogi, vegan enthusiasts, wife, mama and a Petaluma native. She loves building lasting relationships with her clients and is committed to the clients wants and needs.

Mila Dunn

Mila came to Sonoma County when she was 17 to pursue an education in fine art. Through high
school and college, she always found herself doing her classmates hair, and shortly after
finishing university, she followed her true passion and attended beauty school in San Francisco.
She has always prioritized working with clean & green products that are environmentally
conscious and manufactured ethically.
After discovering her own curly hair, she became driven to help others discover and care for
their curls. A pretty low-maintenance gal herself, Mila vibes well with clients looking for simple
solutions to wearing gorgeous hair every day.
Formerly an art student and painter, she also loves working with edgy and unique shapes;
shags, mullets and creative color.

Kristy Besse

Kristy comes to us with 15 years experience. She received the bulk of her training at DiPietro Todd salon in San Francisco and spent the last decade there as a color specialist and educator. She has also participated in continued education with Nine Zero One, Redken, L’Oréal Professional and Essential Academy to name a few. She specializes in all things hair color. From blondes, brondes, brunettes, and red heads she is passionate about finding the perfect shade for each person’s unique skin tone. She loves staying up on what is on-trend and also loves keeping things classic and shiny.

In her personal life, Kristy is a wife and mama. She loves spending time with family and friends out in nature and at the beach. She also loves music…especially live shows.

Kristy loves connecting with her clients and wants to make your hair dreams a reality!

Francesca Santoni

Francesca is a Sonoma county native and has been behind the chair in Santa Rosa at Joon Salon (formerly Elle Lui) for the last 20 years.
Specializing in cutting, Francescca continued her education with DiPietro Todd Academy, Vidal Sassoon , L’Oréal Professional, Travis Parker Academy among others

Francesca’s loves hair to move and feel lived in right away, but also loves the precision of a perfect bob. She prides herself in a thorough consultation, listening to the specific needs then tailoring the right choice for her client. She likes to work on everything from very fine short hair to very textured thick long hair and every combination in between. She wants her client’s to leave feeling confident in their everyday look.

Francesca is passionate about our local food and wine, pilates and loves taking her dog George on hikes & long walks on the beach.

Alex Siakotos

Alex has been a stylist for 20+ years. She has hoosier roots but resided  and worked in San Francisco for a decade. There is a timeless quality to her vibe that is relaxing and inviting. She specializes in razor cuts, lived- in texture, and that effortlessly cool beachy California blond. Think classic French girl meets West coast ease. She loves natural undone texture. A perfect match for anyone chasing that perfect mix of edge and softness. Intentionally beautiful hair with a dash of rock n’ roll. She also loves creating short shapes that grow out beautifully. Color that looks sun-kissed, not salon - done. She also specializes in color corrections and transformations like going back to natural grey hair after color. 

Alex is an exceptional listener and her consultations are a chance to  problem solve any issues and  create a perfect hair regime for your unique lifestyle.

Tarot
Alex is a gemini cancer cusp. Free spirited with an urge for independence and adventure. Often at odds with her home-loving side. Her head wants safety but her heart longs for freedom and excitement.

Ashley Allred

"The Moonlighter"

Many of you have known her as Ashley, a stylist of over 15 years, who's been working at The Pine since the doors opened back in 2017. Now she will be moonlighting here at the salon as "Schlee", as in Ash-schlee.

Schlee has a passion for all things creative and hairstyling has always been an extension of her creative energy. Even though Schlee can do it all she has chosen to specialize in haircutting during her pop-ups here at the salon. She really enjoys layering, fringe, bobs and especially Shags! Whether you're in the mood for a big change or just a good refresh Schlee is your gal. Check out her work at Schlee_stylez to see some beautiful before and afters!

Marisa Mays

Marisa is a Bay Area native who moved back from San Diego 3 years ago. After graduating from Paul Mitchell during the pandemic, she found The Pine again, only she wasn’t just a client there but the assistant to Lindsay! Within these 3 years of nothing but fun & stellar education, she is finally ready to step behind the chair to use all the skills Lindsay has passed on to her. If you’re looking for the effortlessly California/surfer hair look no further. Marisa also loves doing high impact blonding and beautiful textured haircuts. Be prepared for lots of laughs & crazy stories during the process!

After hours, you’ll find her hunkering down in her little farm house filled with antiques, blaring records, & working away at her art, while her two cats judge her from the couch… so rude.
